Aug 1, 2023Finally watched this. No live action has topped the animated version but this definitely one of the better live action ones imo
That being said only 1 out of the 3 new songs were good. They could’ve kept Scuttlebutt & Prince Eric solo
I haven’t watched every live action version but from what I have seen I think this and Beauty & the Beast are the best

MORENAAMy brother and his gf said it was okay, liked Halle’s singing but she isn’t really a seasoned theater singer. Said Javier Bardem was miscast, along with a few others underselling performances.
