The movie was gorgeous and beautifully shot, but the script was extremely lazy. Acting wasn't great either.

The movie is basically disney obeying to the chinese gouvernment.In the end credits you can see a special thanks to the chinese ministery of propaganda.
Part of the movie was also filmed in xingyang where the uyghur minority was carried out and the the mulan actress is pro police and supported violence of the hong Kong police in the protests
