He fired 4 shots in rapid succession. He did exactly what cops are trained to do. Cops aren’t trained to only fire once.

Tasers fail 40% of the time. Sometimes they don’t work, sometimes they get stuck in clothes and don’t puncture the body.
Would a taser have been a better option if he knew it was 100% going to work and the other girl wouldn’t get stabbed? Yeah obviously.
