It's a good question, Dilla was in two different groups with Eminem's friend Proof, 5-Elementz & the duo Funky Cowboys. And Eminem & Paul Rosenburg would be at Dilla's basement studio almost everyday for a couple years. Dilla produced a joint for D12 early on but Eminem wasn't on that specific track

Ma Dukes said in an interview this year, at SXSW, "there was no beef then, there was a supposed project that was gonna happen but Dilla became sick and I don't think Eminem knew then why Dilla couldn't fulfil that because he was very ill and didn't make it common knowledge"

Unfortunate. I don’t think their styles match super well but Em in his prime (late 90s early 00’s) on a Dilla beat would have been sick
