I think creating a great pop song is probably the hardest task in music due to the ubiquity of the genre.

I can genuinely write a decent paragraph why XO is different to We Are Young but the main reason and I had to research this is her vocals are from when she’s sick and you can audibly hear the croaks in her voice which add the vulnerability and she sounds like a real human rather than the pristine PR imagine.
