No
It's not meant to be taken literally
Selling your soul basically just means selling out
Throwing your beliefs and values away in exchange for money
Came in here to post this crazy that this s*** was on a kids show
If you compromise for the sake of fame and fortune yes. Could be taken literally or figuratively that way
I think selling your soul to the devil is a figure of speech. When you sign away your creative rights, a major percentage of your income etc the label literally owns you. Those 360 deals are devilish in nature. Sure it’s the artists fault they sign, they need to be held accountable, but those manipulative label b******s know exactly what they’re doing.
I think the industry can strip you of your integrity in other ways - all cautionary these tales we hear of sexual coercion and unwanted advances from powerful people seem commonplace. Coercing someone to perform sexual acts is pretty devilish too. Some shady s*** is going on behind closed doors in Hollywood
I did that as well, its really not that big of a deal
You sold your soul and you still broke how
I feel it's true, but I think heavy like "REAL" heavy conspiracy theorists make it worst than it really is, but I wouldn't be too surprised if they were right, although I would looking at them sideways like 👀

I feel like it’s more of a metaphor
Like selling your soul your manhood ur integrity etc
yk?

I feel it's both, just by seeing the shady s*** the industry and media done to MJ and Prince. That's why I rather take a distribution deal then as soon as I get me enough money, go indie.

Also the fact that MJ died from a Cardiac Arrest even when he was very healthy.
Like that don't even sound right at all

Why you even NEED an at home doctor? That just spells trouble
Mj wasn’t a junky. I’ll never buy that narrative. You don’t work the way he did when you’re messing w that stuff like that
I’m sure he smoked drank some party d**** here and there
But that doctor had ulterior motives. It just makes too much sense tbh
Yall worried about the devil like most people dont sell their souls to their fellow man
Smh stay woke

sheesh this kinda hard
It's a real thing and every mainstream artist has to do it at some point. They trade eternal hell for fame, money, and fortune. Artists like Jay Z sometimes make hand signs in public as a sign they sold their soul
Nah man wtf
I know Ye ain’t no Cuck
What are some times when rappers experienced the loss of a loved one only to be followed by a surge in popularity?
