americas obsession with pickups and muscle cars, as cool as some of them are, is part of a larger conversation about american exeptionalism/excess that yall arent ready for. that being said, i still want a hellcat lol
Reminds me of when I saw a truck like this with a Punisher skull on the back windshield and a giant bumper stick on the tailgate that said “Grab em by the p****”.
That dude was probably a legit serial killer.
A Mini is more masculine

Pickups are useful. They’re also legit fun like doorless Jeep’s when you’re carpooling in the bed.
There’s an American pride aspect to it but it’s rooted in independence or freedom.
People also prefer trucks due to their Real Wheel or even AWD/4x4 drivetrains. It’s hard to drive Forward wheel drive once you’ve had the good life.
It’s similar to Audi and their Quattro system. Pure gold.
More control, one with the road, type stuff. Which goes back to independence/freedom.
Muscle cars carry similar characteristics however, they carry speed and ruthless aggression. Many designs are a work of art. Boss Mustang for instance. Any SS Chevy is gold.
You put the Truck and Muscle car together we get the classic El Co.

He's def right tbh. It starts with America's car obsession first of all, it's the most individualist mode of transport, you're taking up all that space just for yourself. Pickup and muscle cars just take this self-centeredness to another level, it's not a coincidence that they're so culturally significant to a certain section of right wingers.
Almost choked on my cheez-itz

My 7’2 16incher Honda Civic driving ass can vouch that
Pickups serve an actual purpose
yes i know, the problem is that lots of people buy pickups/suvs nowadays just as a status symbol. theyre prolly the most efficient way to move stuff around for people with active lifestyles that need that kind of cargo space, but lots of people are buying them just because they like that "king of the road" feeling when they could be driving a much more efficient and honestly more luxurious sedan/hatchback/coupe etc
