FATD is such a slog. The production sucks and the Drake luxury lifestyle raps/ Drakeisms about women are just so played out at this point. It makes CLB look exciting by comparison. I just can’t do it.

Also you better be coming through with some hard ass s*** if you’re dropping a f***ing 90 minute album foh. And that isn’t even the deluxe

The former is a dumpster full of trash. The latter is a solid body of work

Drake’s catalog would be received better if the marketing was better.

FATD has Virginia Beach, Slime You Out, Drew a Picasso, Members Only, What Would Pluto Do, 8 Am in Charlotte, Rich Baby Daddy, Polar Opposites and not to mention Red Button .

Her Loss was decent. Easily his best project this decade for me.

FATD is just plain mid though. It barely feels like an album and more of an incohesive playlist with uneven quality. Even Drake realized that and dropped SH3 to help it out.

It's funny, too, because he initially promoted the album as a concept album and a "return to the old Drake" and he flat out abandoned both promises lol.
