I personally don’t mind having the old high school conversations with friends. I find myself rarely talking about what I was doing in high school unless someone in the groupchat wit my childhood homies bring it up. Which is rare. We all are moving on and growing up doing other s*** in life now even though we all talk everyday still

But so many people irl like even old heads and a lot of the times wen I first started working and I was talking to people like 23-26 they would always just bring up high school and how lit they was in high school. I be cringing sometimes cause it’s like okay what do you do now?

Like ktt1 had its classic moments but as a whole this site is way better. I’m glad they not tolerating all the f*** s*** anymore. Y’all wanna clown certain groups and get s*** takes off knowing we have people on here from those groups. They’re already targets irl, so why get on here and try to make their experience a s*** one? Nah I see you but what made KTT1 better wasn’t just the ignorance. The balance between ignorance and maturity was very dope. You could have some intense wild s*** and a good discourse going on side by side, and that was regular.

I don’t recognize much maturity or balance over here. A lot of angsty and overly sensitive users that can barely hold a real discussion without projecting, that barely got anything to say. There’s not much of a character to most these kids, they’re like different colors of the same ass robot. Growing up so early with social media sucks the uniqueness out of people. The threads used to be way more varied & less superficial. Tell me it ain’t true.

There’s plenty of balance on here tbh. It’s a Lot dudes like @blonded who can flip the switch in any given moment. You’ll see him clown someone then educate someone else the next post. There are times where people over do it with the wokeness or ignorance depending on the topic, I can admit to that but IMO there’s a decent amount of balance on this site. It’s crazy cause I see a lot of posters people claim to be woke all the time in threads clowning too but I think people be so focused on the one or two times they butt heads with someone and just see them as someone that’s woke or complaining all the time. Life section was way better on ktt1 tho. I ain’t even go cap on that one. Even if some of them threads were made up I can’t deny the effort some of them dudes put in them threads. I don’t remember a “I can’t get p****” type thread on ktt1 multiple times a week. Now every thread on here with stories feel like cap cause everyone focused on having that hit thread. So in regards to that I definitely agree with you.

ive always thought of peaking in high school as referring to mfers that thought they were the s*** in HS, and after that time they just kind of tread water and dont amount to much.

where as some kids that were "less cool" and not in the cool kids group go on to do great things - become lawyers, engineers, doctors, teachers, accountants etc.

i know a few of the hot chicks i went to school with end up getting knocked up in their early 20s, and now they got a baby daddy. dude bounced lol
