Come Home The Kids Miss You makes Certified Lover Boy look like My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

    That’s all.

I said this to my mom and she said wtf are you talking about

Drake had the OGs in their feelings when he came into the game, no one is really worried about Jack like that.

Drake story is linked with too many legends and link ups

    Wayne, Nicki.
    Cole, Kendrick.
    Kanye, Jay.
    Weekend, Rihanna.
    Future. Rick Ross.

There will never be another come up like Drake, mimmicking his style isn't nearly enough.

Jay and Kanye literally made watch the throne because of drake
Thats how you know the OGs in the game feared Drakes presence

Jack will never touch Drake’s level. Not even from a commercial and sales standpoint but just strictly artistry and lyrically

He already tries to rap like a great value Drake but when I hear Jack rap he offers me nothing nor do I feel anything. No substance, nothing interesting, his story or come up isn’t interesting at all either

Jack just dropped his sophomore album and there isn’t a song on it that can touch really any of the songs on Take Care (Drake’s sophomore) other than literally the song featuring Drake ironically enough

Also Jack can’t sing at all also so… yeah the Jack and Drake comparisons gotta stop

“how you plan to make it to the top by just fitting in”

Jack's rap tracks are honestly more enjoyable to listen to than Drake's rap tracks from 2019+ onwards tbh

tired of listening to Drake get his bars off on boring ass beats. Where's the fun & energy we all fell in love with

Yes because the flows are immaculate and bars sharp

If Drake followed up TML with something as background music-esque as this, he wouldn’t have a career rn

My gripe is that if you don't have depth in your message, you need some slick lines, smart metaphors, etc. A lot of this is just lazy as hell.

Yeah because “Don’t make me break your Kevin Hart boi” is so clever

That's the point. Drake has so many great lines in all his songs when he throws a tongue-in-cheek line it's still GOATed because we know exactly why it's there. This like half a album of those kind of lines. If you can't see that then

Swear you guys just want to hate on Jack. Very enjoyable album, he unlocked a lot of cool flows and vocal inflections and there’s plenty of quotable bars. He’s still only really been a genuine star for like 2 and a half years and is only 24. Give him time. He’s got the younger generation on lock. Only gonna get bigger with his movie career coming up

Edit - ofc Drake is still and always will be miles ahead. But he’s the goat so that’s not taking away from Jack

Drake was “only a star for 2 years” and dropped Take Care

  • May 6, 2022

who was making that comparison and why

  • RESIGNED

Drake was “only a star for 2 years” and dropped Take Care

I should’ve rephrased - Jack’s probably only been a star for a year, been in the spotlight for two. His career took off with what’s poppin but I wouldn’t say he was a star at that point. He will still a B-grade star when he last album came out. Now he’s a star

And again, I’m not comparing the two I’m just saying people are unnecessarily s***ting on Jack. Drake is the goat, comparing anyone to him is setting them up to fail

On some level it’s nice to see people appreciating Drake’s greatness now though. Really just shows how much better he is than even really dope artists
