As if a person and a whole celeb with million of followers have the same platform/reach/impact for an opinion
A random person : idgaf about X => nothing happens until the post goes viral maybe, and even then who actually cares
A celeb : idgaf about X => news coverage, polarized debates whether the celeb is right or not
celebs have huge influence, why do you think they hire PR managers, people to write their public statements and most undergo media training...

How many celebs have said they don't care, climate change, trumps administration, or have supported All Lives Matter... they exist and usually get partially flamed for it partially defended for it...A celeb will be judged if they say "idc about these wildfires or y'all protests or covid" us regulars appear to be dealing with life-threatening situations, the celeb will be looked at as a bad person for not caring for life when it costs them next to nothing to voice support/urge their followers to donate etc (they don't even have to donate themselves just ask for a dollar for every follower on insta and it will be more than enough)
what big artists go through with these contracts/label mistreatment isn't a life threatening situation (as far as we know despite conspiracy theories)

TheLostBoyI’ll be honest, it’s cool they’re fighting against the record labels to get what’s theirs, but it doesn’t affect me.
I got other problems to be worrying about than a famous artist with a f***ed up contract they signed.
It’s evil what these record labels do and it’s cool that people want to expose them.
In the end, it’s their fight. Bigger problems in the world than me worrying about their contract.
