To me its asinine to keep buying new iphones just to keep up appearances, youre throwing money into a hole for 1 or 2 new features. Thats not smart at all

I change out phones every 4 years

Usually i get a new phone every 2-3 years if they make significant changes and I’ll swap between android and iPhone. I’ll usually wait until the new phone drops and grab the older version in the aftermarket for around 300-400.

Man, I buy a new phone only if my old one is nearly broken. I just switched from a 7 to a 12. Didn’t even realize a 13 was coming out
