I'm not just talking about the academic stress. I hate the type of crowds there and most of the time I just want to get out. Just feel out of place compared to the average school kid. Feel like there's another place I should be that is suited for me and I would love
School is a waste of time except when you wanna get in a field that requires a license. The needs in life is how to do basic math and reading.
The people you meet in school is the best thing about it. I guess you need to find your crowd which can be difficult.

do you still hate it now that it's online?
Honestly I was miserable for a little bit but looking back at school as much as I hated some moments it did exactly this for me.
I found a new passion, I learned skills in a lucrative field where I can either work for someone or start my own business, met more like minded people, met unlike minded people who helped expand my horizons and learn new things, and I really learned how to work like a machine. I have no problem sitting in front of my computer working for 12+ hours straight and I exactly enjoy what I do now. I'll hold on to the memories of staying up through the night with my friends working on a project forever and hope I can recreate that many times. I didn't go to a poppin state school, I didn't live on campus, some nights I slept in my car and my school was in the hood. I look back on those days fondly.
School has some bullshit but you can make it incredible.

Right? I'm the only one with a webcam and talking for most of class haha
I f***ing hated high school passionately and almost didn't graduate. Took a few years off (which ended up being critical) and am now loving it at a CC. Life is funny sometimes

i did the same as you, now i'm flourishing academically compared to my time in primary school. that break from schooling was crucial for my growth.
school > work
This. School is not the greatest thing ever but it sure beats making someone else rich
I'm just not the social type and campus life is crazy.

Ain't that the truth
I like learning about s*** im interested in and meeting new people. College was pretty fun pre-COVID but now its a pain in the ass
One of the most stressful burdens of my life, f--k school!!
Not in a edgy Odd Future way either.

King
Public school is lite prison
high school really sucks until junior year
Felt this. My freshman year was literally on some max keeble s*** and one of the most miserable years of my life. Sophomore year could have been worse but the bullying stopped so I was happy about that bare minimum. Junior and senior year were pretty chill but I also only had to show up a couple hours a day and it was mostly the era I liked versus school
