unironically lowkey yeah (albeit i don’t think @saveme fits the bill but meh)

most of the people itt who have been s***ting on her are known mayozoids or Europeans

i don’t agree with @illegalnecessity take that she’s surpassed (or will anyways) Prince MJ etc. but a lot of the hate she receives definitely has a racial basis to an extent

Ok, but when me and @saveme are literally black dudes that have different opinions on Beyonce. What does that make us?

  • Feb 1, 2023

I'm not stupid enough to know that a lot of people from other countries be on KTT2.

Exactly, these niggas will go hard for Beyonce, but not as hard for Janet and Whitney (which are the core artists that was the reason that Bey was able to have the success she has now).

Whitney was a legendary vocalist, but that's where her artistry starts and ends. She wasn't involved in any of the writing, production, or artistic direction of her projects at all and was barely a performer.

She's an icon ofc, I just don't see how she would fit into the category. She's much more similar to a Celine Dion or Frank Sinatra type of artist.

You're right, I would use Whitney, because she's a major influence, but take her away and we got Janet.

    What about her?

Think Beyoncé is great, but no. She is really cool though!

  • Oct 24, 2023

Beyonce and her team have done a great job at creating this larger than life, absolute perfection brand. Similar to Michael before the child allegations. I’d without a doubt call her the greatest performer of all time.

But when we talk about MUSIC. The s*** that’s going to last for generations and generations. There’s a LOOONG list of people she ain’t f***ing with.

She ain’t f***ing with Stevie Wonder.

    She ain’t f***ing with MJ

    She ain’t f***ing with Prince

    She ain’t f***ing with Marvin

I’d even make the argument for Usher beating her in a verzuz.

  • Oct 24, 2023

    No she isn’t good enough

    madonna?

F*** yeah, Madonna is the highest selling female artist of all time.

    300 million albums sold
    12 #1 singles
AND Tupac was enamored with her in the 90s

Listen to Ray of Light the album

Her performances maybe but her music isn’t like that

In that case Taylor Swift has her beat in performances and music

No because men and women alike don’t universally regard her music that highly

    Beyoncé appeals mostly to women

Prince, Stevie, MJ etc appealed across the spectrum of all ages and both sexes
