I’m tellin y’all, he needs to go left field and drop a modernized 00’s hyphy album. It would be experimental and he could drop a classic, it doesn’t need a concept or message, just hyped up beats and spazz out with other Cali legends

Tbh I don’t think so. I think he’s got it no matter what & I think the second he drops anything about an album the hype will be thru the roof.
He’s had eyes on him for a while, people maybe have tuned out but the second Kenny’s back, all they gotta do is hit play to believe again

personally i got rid of Compton for it cause doesn't really change anything overall narrative of the record
that’s crazy I feel like Compton is the perfect closer to the albums narrative. Really shows that Kendrick overcame it all w an homage to the city both lyrically and sound wise

It's so soothing and deep, also ties the whole album together into a beautiful conclusion. That track is essential. Yeah I remember some ppl complaining about the hook when the album dropped but not much since.
