Was planning to cop GKMC vinyl and then I realized next year will be 10 years since GKMC was released, so he’ll probably release a 10 year anniversary edition of the album with extra tracks.
Maybe it’ll include Cartoon & Cereal
Is this likely?
Cartoon & Cereal wasn't meant for that album tho.
10 years makes me feel old af. I still remember when this dropped man
i was calling stores and tryna get it out of the back early and s***

I’m pretty sure I illegally downloaded it like a week before
Did you just argue quality with placement on a billboard chart
Its not about quality, you said nobody is listening to GKMC anymore when it's the longest charting hip-hop album ever Some of you will legit post any bullshit you can make up just to hate on an artist
was meant to be a double album
first cd about his childhood with songs like cartoons & cereal, county building blues
2nd cd about his teenage years
that's why the first cover is also him being a kid and the deluxe is the van
Heard this before And apparently there was a Kdot vs Kendrick theme but I don't know if it was for GKMC or another project that was scrapped
Also, you can hear that County Building Blues was meant to be the intro
Cartoon & Cereal wasn't meant for that album tho.
I thought I read that it was?
Always thought C&C and Westside Right On Time could have made GKMC Kendricks best album.

Westside Right On Time Canei Finch so great with soul samples. J Cole should've signed him to Dreamville, his style would be perfect for those artists
I think C&C was meant for the album, the intro of County Building Blues mentions the title and it would tie in nicely with Maad City Crazy how even the tracks Kendrick scrapped around that era are classics tho, he could've had F***in Problems on the album too but passed because the song didn't tie into the narrative Don't know when he recorded Vanity Slaves 2 but an album with all those bangers on would be crazy

An entire J Cole Album produced by Canei Finch would be a classic. I’m so mad he never made it. JID would fit perfectly in his beats too.
I’m tellin y’all, he needs to go left field and drop a modernized 00’s hyphy album. It would be experimental and he could drop a classic, it doesn’t need a concept or message, just hyped up beats and spazz out with other Cali legends
Kendrick isn’t from the bay and that would regress his career.
no lol i don’t even think kendrick acknowledged tpab 5th anniversary last year why the f*** would he do this lol
Whether you like Real or not, it’s objectively a horrible song. One of the worst in hip hop history
nah poetic justice fits the narration
Compton doesn't
how does compton not fit the narrative lol
it's the closing track on an album telling a story about life in compton
Just have a different cover for the vinyl please
OG artwork too good, I'm tired of looking at that stupid picture of a van.

Made for an street album before GKMC.
Lol I was forcing it but the hook is definitely a big miss
The hook should've been done differently lol
