Yeah? I don't see why not, unless there's a good reason why we stopped speaking to each other.

Met my old classmate at the airport and the hospital like very recently lol. We both noticed each other at the airport and I actually forgot the name lmaoo. It turned out great tho and even exchanged our contacts

Other person was the doctor handling my check up

I have an embarrassing story for this thread, but I’m the one who got approached. Or better yet, invaded.

So my childhood best friend moved to Switzerland when we were 8-9 years old. We tried to keep contact and I even visited once but it faded with time and so we just moved on

Fast forward 10 years later. It’s a random Tuesday. The bell rings. It must have been like 1pm, but I had just woken up and I was still in my pajamas. I answered the door and it said here is Henry (That’s his name). Can you come down for a sec? I didn’t recognize him, but I went down anyways

So here I am, depressed and crusty at 1pm in front of my house and he’s standing there with his entire family. Mum, dad, and his sister I used to have a crush on. I was so f***ing uncomfortable. I didn’t know what to do and we just talked for a couple minutes. He told me he just came back to town today and that we should link up. I said cool and he asked for my number which I didn’t memorize perfectly as it was new and so I gave him a wrong number and we never saw each other again

When I told this story to someone they said I should have just invited them into my house, but that thought didn’t even cross my mind at that time. I was so embarrassed and in shock that I legit forgot how to be a decent human being

This s*** still haunts me because I would have loved to link back up with him (and his sis)

Absolutely not. I try my hardest to avoid talking to people I used to know. Mostly because everyone remembers me being anorexic and it’s always a really annoying reaction when they see I gained a lot of weight. Also catching up with people is always messy
