I don’t think the existence of life or complex life has any sort of weight in the argument of god
The universe has no obligation to make sense to us, and if we want to make sense of a localized phenomenon such as that of life using god, we might as well apply that to the other abstract and illogical phenomena of the universe, like black holes, relativity, and quantum mechanics
The universe doesn’t have an obligation to anyon
Yes. Atheists are cringe, and agnostics know life has meaning but don’t want to admit the truth

Atheism is a cult in itself
Nah. When you're not raised religious, it's hard to not look at everyone who is like they're not brainwashed
religion was invented to explain things that early humans didn't understand. It's been incredibly resilient because people have a hard time changing their entire worldview they've been raised to believe, and because it gives people hope
at the end of the day we're just animals. pretty creative ones though

religion has nothing to do with god
God is real yes
I would say nothing is more real than God
Your consciousness brother
im agnostic
but the notion that the universe emerged out of a purely random process that existed in a vacuum is incoherent IMO
even a random process requires some level of design dictating its parameters
The physics behind it are complex enough that Im willing to accept things I normally wouldnt, such as our universe formerly being in a superdense state

None of those things are logical mate. Maybe non intuitive

I forgot a “no” so now it’s that the universe has no obligation to make sense to us
And quantum physics is not a logical strain of science. The wave/particle dichotomy of light in itself is illogical by classical standards

Ah
I agree about the universe having no need to explain itself
As for lights dual nature, I think thats just a sign of our understanding still lacking. QM though has rigorous math behind it
i think all this humanity s*** too perfect to chalk it up solely to science as we currently understand it
don’t necessarily believe in god, but somethin goin on
Mans said humanity is perfect when the Holocaust happened less than a century ago
Believing in a god provides me no answers nor inspirations to problems or possibilities in my material world
This is known as Apatheism and this is the mentality i follow for the most part
Whether God exists or not does not make a substantial difference in my life so im not apt to care
I believe there’s a God above me I’m just the God of everything else….
Jokes aside yes I believe in both God and Christ as my lord and savior. I believe the Bible is a very manipulated text though and i don’t agree with a lot of evangelical Christian “principles” though
