    gamification.co/2014/02/21/the-winner-effect

Basically, the winner effect is a phenomenon where winning a contest leads to a release of testosterone and dopamine in the brain, changing its structure and making the individual smarter, more confident, and bolder. Cognitive neuroscientist Ian H. Robertson argues that success and failure shape individuals more significantly than genetics and d****. The winner effect has been observed in various competitive fields, such as sports, business, and chess.

Winning increases dopamine receptors in the brain, enhancing cognitive abilities and confidence. Conversely, the "loser effect" occurs when losing decreases testosterone, making individuals timid and more submissive. Studies show that gamification can harness the winner effect to make individuals smarter and more confident.

What do you guys think? I believe in this theory completely.

It's common sense (imo) that success compounds. However I dislike the term gamification and connotations that surround it. A life is not something to be gamed, rather delighted in.

I believe it. Most people know someone who switched up crazy when they make it up, or conversely they torpedo down when they miss it.

Both those things make you wanna take d**** tho

i won some good money sports betting and felt like a god and honestly that feeling still there

  • Jun 20, 2024

    No

But winning does invoke a positve effect & confidence, naturally

But this assumes youre just winning to be winning when you still have to be practiced & you are also up against other winners and potentials

Yeah, when I moved out I noticed I got way more attractive and my d*** got bigger. But this was because of me realizing I had to be an adult. I think more responsibility puts you in a position to make or break yourself. Once I realized that I was on my own, I took shir into my own hands. And boom, all these amazing things happened because of it. I furnished my apartment for free with clean furnisher, got a thick ass goth shawty without even trying, met my soul tribe. You gotta act like a winner to have a winner lifestyle. #NEPHEW

Interesting how so many succesful people say that it’s how they bounced back from their failures that made them who they are and not solely their successes. I dont think its cut and dry like that at all. So I don’t believe in this winner effect at all.

These effects did not exist among women, a finding consistent with the hypothesis that androgens mediate winner and loser effects.

glad that science can prove that men are more emotional than women

This is why immersing oneself in a constant cycle of trial-error-reflection-success with personal goals is a psychological cheat code
