Dec 1, 2021No but the reason you think so is because it’s much shorter and feels more concise. For what it is, it still feels like a mixtape/album rather than a bunch of tracks thrown together.
Dec 1, 2021I like the vision and structure of Dark Lane a lot more but the highs of Certified are too high, literally some of the best tracks Drizzy has ever made.

D4L is a future throwaway song tbh. I still like it but in the context of a drake release it just didn't fit imo. same with way too sexy tbh

Well , NYT was originally on CLB before he slapped it on DLDT which he mentioned in rap radar interview so with that being said CLB is light years over dldt and this coming from someone who prefers DLDT over IYRTITL . I feel like with time almost like More Life it'll get more shine in Drake's discography. not sure how future generations will hold it since it's not an "album" but i think it's an essential listening experience if you're a fan of Drake, in my opinion more so than a lot of songs on CLB. maybe i'm hating but the album Certified Lover Boy kinda doesn't live up to the hype i had for it. has some great songs but ultimately i think it wasn't really what Drake intended it to be when he started making itI enjoyed more life better than both

Dec 2, 2021I feel like my favorite joints on DLDT (time flies, not you too, deep pockets) are more emotionally hard hitting but my favorites on CLB (like race my mind, pipe down) are more interesting listens
hard to say, the vibes of the two projects are so different

CLB's another case of a drake album having some great songs and some boring or downright mid songs
