Personally for me when I had that feeling of being 'alone' within a group setting means I'm either not fulfilling a purpose or the setting I'm in isn't awakening the current needs I'm seeking. Conversationally, energy, vibe etc.

I had to seek that or question what is it that's bring forth this idea of 'being alone'. There's solitude in being alone, because once you're alone you can then bring in the true ideas and people you want in your life.

Lonely is different. It's somber. An uphill battle. 1 on 5 but your competitors are vastly superior with their skillset. You know you're finna take this L in a major way. The jokes, embarrassment etc. When you're alone, you can handle this s*** and stand strong even overcome these situations.. Loneliness, there's almost little to no hope.

Not anymore. It took years to understand what that 'alone' feeling is. Overall, this has to be apart of the human condition. there's a Psalm King David wrote that even he's a stranger in the earth. As charismatic and popular he was during his time, that innate feeling of being alone exists with the best of us.

Also, there's that line in the film Heat. DeNiro is asked by his gf, "Are you lonely?" he replies "I'm alone, not lonely"

For some reason, creating that seperating between the two concepts helped me understand what being 'alone' is about lmao

no but if I didnt have all these things to keep me distracted and occupied I probly would

that's why we got hobbies, jobs, relationships etc

to avoid ourselves
