I had a dream where I met my subconscious. I was walking through my house (brain) and going thru different rooms. In the living area was a really dope chair. To the right of that chair maybe 5 feet beyond it was a door opening. Began to walk towards it, once I was making my entrance into the room that was a mini library, out of the left corner of the room was a kid. He came running towards the door and guarded it. Ya know how in Looney Tunes or any of those comedic animations where the character would run at breakneck speed and stand at attention, it was similar to that. He was guarding the library, that room. Very interesting, pretty cool stuff.

yea but then they get almost too real

wayyy too real. i've had to kill people brutally in self defense and then continue in the dream with the guilt of hurting someone, covered in blood.

i'm talking having only a typewriter to defend myself with

must have been inspired by Misery

seriously wakes me up feeling traumatized

Im not sure; my partner says i sound like im fighting somthing off or crying in my sleep a lot; so if i do have nightmares; i dont recall them

  • Aug 8, 2021

most of my dreams are unpleasant but i wouldn’t call em nightmares cause they’re not really disruspting my sleep

  • Aug 8, 2021

used to have a ton of them when i was a kid though (mainly talking like 4-9)

s*** was to the point where i wouldn’t fall asleep unless i was too exhausted to keep my eyes open cause i was afraid of what i might dream about that night, i was also very afraid of the dark though so that’s another reason lol

Update: today i dreamed with a girl removing her clothes pieces, after a game is played - where random numbers are being picked.

Cant remember the last time I had a nightmare

  • Aug 9, 2021

I used to have regular nightmares from PTSD but I smoke cannabis daily now so quite literally never consciously dream unless I drink (cannabis interrupts the REM cycle so almost impossible to dream with it)

For the most part it helps. Not always, but enough that if I wasn’t taking medicine it be much worse

i used to when i was drinking more. they were always really strange and nothing actually scary happened in them but for some reason i'd wake up scared.

Ever since i got a tumor on one of the nerves in my head i remember all my dreams every night & a lot of them (but not all) are nightmares

Like im cognizant a good amount of the the time now of the dream playing out wether im still in the role of the dream of know its a dream. Some them even blend into my actual memory.

I usually try to wake myself up anytime i do realize im actually dreaming. Because usually when i realize im dreaming the dream usually goes south.

Its very weird & has to do with how the tumor sat on some neuro s*** or something like that on my iirc right frontal lobe.

Its dope & trash at the same time.

    @op

Edit: just to get the common question out the way i usually get with this, no I cannot "control my dreams" or whatever the f*** God fantasy some people say they have with s*** like lucid dreaming n whatever. Its not like that & idk if that s*** is even truly real.
