Coming up Pops taught me to have no fear to look people in the eye and greet them. Not on some stare down type s*** but Something simple like “good morning” and such. For me it’s about being respectful but also being aware of my surroundings. I know how to read people. They say the eyes are windows to the soul. I can pick up on peoples intentions by looking in their eyes.
wait this is one of those Guess Who riddles right?
"my dad raised me to have no fear"
"i know how to read people"
"i can see ur soul thru ur eyes"
are u... Ben Shapiro???
never, but I stare at them and if I notice them take a glance at me I just say 'heeyyyyyyy!' with a real huge smile and for some reason most people don't say hey back..
ppl are so rude smh
Sometimes it gets really bad though. Like I'm in terminator and it's a lock on system. I went on a date at in n out recently and I spent like 30 minutes staring over her shoulder at a baby.
It's like if I see a person, my first instinct is to make and then maintain eye contact.
nah babies be deserving that s***, be eyeing the f*** out outta you like ya p**** or something

Idk sometimes I just cross eyes with people and im not gonna look elsewhere lol that's even weirder than just staring
Yes, and with great focus too.
To my understanding, it represents acknowledging them as an equal individual.
Sometimes I'd even follow up a lengthy stare with a full sprint towards them but I had to stop after being arrested.
When I worked in retail, I tried my best to not make eye contact with a single customer.
Most rude, entitled, obnoxious people I’ve ever had the chance of being around.
You have terrible customer service obviously. Why cant you as a man make eye contact when you talking to a person?

I don’t consider customers in a retail environment as deserving of any acknowledgment whatsoever.
You would fall into that category as well. F*** boy.
It really depends on where you live, it's interesting how in some places it's seen as friendly, others hostile, and in other places just weird

You really a b**** tbh. You cant even look a man in the face but talking tough on the internet
For sure. I stay mad engaged with my surroundings and the people in it. A friendly nod can go a long way to the people you see in the world.

Stop projecting. Talk to me once you’ve worked a customer service job. Or any job, for that matter.
You don’t deserve my eye contact. I own you.
