Personally the concept of having a close friends circle with people under/over my age group makes me a little uncomfortable, I think just going off of life experience and relatability. Responsibilities play into it as well, like if I was friends with a 30 year old and they told me they were working on their 401k or something I would feel absolutely sick, just knowing that I have no knowledge of that whatsoever. What about you guys?

the youngest friend i have is 3 years younger and tried to make me feel bad about it once
i met him through my real good friend whos only a year younger so i don't see it as a issue as opposed to actively trying to make friends with people significantly younger than you

After you turn 21 age doesn’t matter when it come to friends. Well imo at least. I was cool with niggas in their late 20’s, 30’s etc. if niggas are solid and we can help each other grow as people, idc how old you are and vice versa.

Having older friends is goat anyway. They’ll put you on game people around your age can’t.

I prefer to have close friends that are “older” or my age ONLY because they tend to be more “mature” and “intelligent”, but I’ve made friends that are younger than me who are more “mature” and “intelligent” than some older folks I know.

Similar age group, preferably +21 minimum.
