I don’t like how these new people that like sneakers are settling on reps and mids jordan 1’s it’s like they just care about the clout they get instead of actually wanting the shoes.

If you got to justify wearing reps, then buying/wearing the shoes for the wrong reasons in my opinion.

I spent close to half a thousand for some Js I've wanted since I was a teenager, when I could've gotten them for just over a c-note. This s*** is upsetting me the more I think about it.

I don't wear em, if I miss a drop to bots I just don't care about that shoe anymore but honestly I'm starting to support the rep market just to f*** over resellers and guys who just buy s*** as a flex. It's the reason I left the sneaker game.

When I was into sneakers I would said f*** reps but at this point even basic ass colors sell out and flip for bread.
If you getting reps of Dior 1s and crazy s*** then yeah it's corny cause you just Trina flex out of your tax bracket but back in the day shoes were accessible at least if you out in a lil work, now it's luck and trying to beat bots. I'm not paying 300+ for some basic ass colorway of jordan 1s and dunks. I remember when nobody really cared about the 1s too lol. Thats where I think reps are somewhat viable. I'm not about to feel bad for resellers and a billion dollar company.

If yall don't like reps, who do you feel about customs that are made to look like other more expensive colorways?
Like if I take the least expensive jordan 1 or dunk and customize them myself to look like Chicago's or royals or whatever?
