Bro???? I said and this niggas stay on Andre d*** not this nigga as in u lol

I was saying u right lol

Folks put Andre on a big ass pedestal and act like big boi wasn’t even there

My bad I’m high and read that wrong I thought you was trying to ridicule me but yea young people do listen to outkast but most of the time it isn’t off the purpose of listening to them as a duo. I think André eccentric style is what makes him intriguing for the broad audience

Don’t listen to this nigga nowhere did I imply younger folks don’t bump outkast I’m fairly just pointing at the narrative that people run with that big boi isn’t as creative and I think that’s unfair to him. I see that opinion shared with a lot of folks from my gen

This is alot of miscommunication clearly.

We all can agree there wouldn't be Outkast without Big Boi the same way there isn't Mobb Deep without Prodigy.

His contributions to Outkast were VERY important. He helped balance out Andres quirkiness and keep the group just grounded enough to appeal all around. Big Boi may not be producing the same level of greatness he was back in the day, but that doesn't take away from what hes done or who he is. And his solo debut album is F***ING EXCELLENT. That alone showed me his worth.

    WESLEY THE GREAT

Last time they appeared on a song officially was in 2008 on “Royal Flush”, a single that was meant to be on Big Boi’s first LP.

Do you think we’ll ever see them work together again? It seems like at the moment André deliberately goes out of his way to not do music with him, even though I know they’re still best friends outside of music.

They can't legally do music together.

it'd be crazy to see Future on an OutKast album given the dungeon family connections and how much of a fan Andre is

    I pray against this.

Isn't the label in control of that

  • Dec 8, 2021

They performed together for a little and Andre hated it

  • Sir Swagalot

future is more versatile than you think g

Absolutely. Plus the likelihood of him being on an Outkast reunion album is pretty strong imo. Andre 3000 REALLY likes him. And Andre is one of the only artists that Future changed his sound for a bit when they collaborated on Honest.

  • If you want a song to come and go in less than 3 days than sure

You guys have to stop living in the past so much

    It’s 2022 outkast is done

The label took Andre off of the official “Lookin’ 4 Ya” and it had to be released unofficially as a loosie. I remember Big Boi explaining that they have to appear together on a track as Outkast or something and there’s just a lot of politics behind it.

If that was around the time of pink matter, I thought that was because Andre didn’t want to give fans hope of a new album

I mean yeah but its still unofficial to me until Andre classifies it as official. Man literally came out with a whole statement just to say that it wasn't an official Outkast reunion.
