overpopulation is an ecofascist myth. more food is produced than can possibly be consumed by everyone on the planet. there are more houses than there are homeless people. the reason these resources don't get to the people that need them is by design. it isn't profitable for the global elite.

Yeah i know, refer to my first post.

There are already efforts to change all that, & to make the current less destructive.

Our current gen is no way in that frame of thought tho & will be put off, so its about focusing it on the next overall gen. "We all" currently are already used to one way, but it'll be different for our kids or kids kids, and overall better.

There are already tons of strides & development going into all of this. Especially on the food side.

    It's fascinating.

obviously this is bait but ill bite

what do you think would happen if hypothetically all this food was consumed by everyone and if all these homeless people now occupied all these houses? That we would just stop growing? Even if we did, we'd still be f***ed cause its too late and the end is already here

nigga, yes? everyone knows there's a strong link to poverty/access to education and number of children per household. less impoverished, more educated people = lower birth rates = fewer people, not that there are too many people to begin with. the end is not already here. there are plenty of things we as a society can do to lessen our negative effects on the planet.

let's stop pretending like people taking 30 minute showers or having the new iphone is the biggest contributor to environmental decay and look at these big corporations dumping trillions of gallons of pollutants into our oceans to make a quick buck

Yeah our humanity is trending towards lower populations globally. IMO, this isn't a good or bad thing.

We're relying more on technology and automation to fulfill our needs.

Plus humans don't know how to love each other unconditionally, so it makes sense why you see a lot of divorces and breakups happening nowadays.

Rich people and big corporations are responsible for most of the carbon emissions. This is the root problem. Western countries contribute the most to climate change, but blame overpopulation in order to shift blame onto the global south.

This is the world we live in and s***s not gonna change anytime soon cuz people are too ignorant towards socialism. But adding more people to the equation does nothing but make it WORSE. Whats gonna happen when developing countries rapidly increase their consumption rates like Chinas done? Both things can be true. Its amazing what Twitter will convince some of you of

Obviously if people keep living for longer due to medical improvements, then overpopulation will become an inevitable problem, unless there is state mandated reproduction policies like they had in China.
