As a fan of bands like cocteau twins, beach house , pale saints etc one of the things that have really gravitated me to really liking abel is the way he’s incorporated those sounds in his artistic leanings

Plus just him not being corny or pretentious about it and also being a black dude who grew up in an urban way so the way he’s naturally mixed those sounds in with hip hoh, rnb and other black music is so cool to me
