not on the same level as shining obviously
but very enjoyable, ewan is very good in it
very dope callbacks to shining too
its not very scary tho id say its more scifi/thriller type thing

This is sadly true. This was an above average xmen/capeshit flick, but as a sequel to the shining it falls short

Way better than I thought it would be. It wasn’t scary to me but it was a cool story and I didn’t know what was gonna happen next.
I was praying they would not do a cgi Jack Nicholson - but since i hadn’t heard about it I figured they didn’t - I went out to smoke and came back thinking they could have used the current Jack Nicholson as a dead corpse 💀
