Sam Raimi is returning to the Marvel universe, taking the reigns of the upcoming Doctor Strange sequel.

Benedict Cumberbatch is set to return as Dr. Stephen Strange, aka the Sorcerer Supreme, and he’ll be joined by Benedict Wong and Elizabeth Olsen, the latter of whom reprises her MCU role as Scarlet Witch.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness comes four years after Benedict Cumberbatch first played the mystical man in the movie helmed by Scott Derrickson.

Usually they get more freedom on the second movie, but Doctor Strange was mid and didn't make a ton of money so I guess they weren't comfortable with Derrickson having too much control.
