He’s spoken about how disappointing people with spidey 3 got to him bad

Maybe he doesn’t want a repeat of disappointing fans. This one is even more intense with so many weaving stories and 10+ years of fanbase build up

He also knows what it’s like to be f***ed around by a studio.

He could really wanna get it right and is willing to go extra months shooting, working with the marvel team etc to make it really something great

I listened to an interview with Tom hanks on bill Simmons pod and he said early in his career he would complain about reshoots until he asked in annoyance why they were redoing it seemingly as infinitud and the response was “because we can/they’re letting us”. He said he didn’t realize at the time how much of a luxury that was so, you never know

Potentially a Spider-Verse where the different Spider Men have to team up to take down the Sinister 6, featuring Tom Hardy Venom and Jared Leto Morbius.
