I mean they could if they were willing to let directors just create . However them still having Creative differences after securing their endgame bag, far from home still revolving around iron man . Is just like damn . What event movie is anyone rushing to see from them ? If dr strange got to be it’s own thing I would be excited

They could start by actually making some good movies with good choreography and less comedy club routines.
Winter Soldier is still the best movie they ever made and the villain in that just had a metal arm. Doesn't need to be some intergalactic threat.

people do say that, i dont believe anyone will ever get 'full creative control' of their projects in the MCU, they have to somewhat fit in the MCU which i dont really think is bad
Directors are starting to get SOME more creative control which taika and james are examples of, even the horror elements which are going to be in this movie are examples of that, no director will ever have full creative control in the MCU and thats okay. Feige made this whole thing work, he knows what would work and wont focussing on movie being good and making money so i trust him

I agree. Doom, Galactus, Annihilus... all of them legit threats. S*** they could do Secret Wars too. I guess what I’m saying is that it’s gon be tough as s*** to top the cohesiveness and epic-ness they’ve built over the last ten years without it feeling stale and old. I’d say maybe they’ll prove me wrong but the fact that they weren’t willing to make Doc Strange something other than a normal Marvel flick isn’t encouraging haha
