feel like this is kinda telling. it probably had been known already but damn. these directors get so washed out of their own projects.
i feel like people make it a dystopian thing when in reality, Raimi's been a director in the industry longer than we've been alive
he knows how it works, he knows how these are put together and the compromises you have to make. hes a grown man and has taken the job + he's spoken many times recently of the great time he's had and that he'd gladly work on more marvel stuff so hes definitely not getting f***ed imo.
directors know when you take a movie for marvel (or any of these bigger studio things) you arne't making 100% your thing and thats just part of it
