I’m the only one who thinks 6Lack sounds nothing like Party? Only thing they have in common is that they were “mysterious”
it’s really the laziest comparison ever, i f*** with party but any nigga that sing with auto tune is not copying that nigga. like chill out lmao

I’m saying like there are legit rnb niggas that came out post 2013 you can point to and say they sound like PX but 6lack never did.
He has some stuff I like, but I’ve never thought he was ever able to move beyond his influences. As much as I enjoy that style, I agree w/ some others here in that he was kinda late to the party for his music. Lotta solid features tho.
His career started and basically ended once everyone thought that he was on the outro of Nights the day that Blonde dropped

6lack n tiller rode the pnd wave as it was ending. the sound is just outdated at this point
i feel like tiller carved his own lane out. 6lack is like the r&b version of cole. nothing special just middle of the road music. no risks

I tried finding it but I guess they took it off the site - Complex and Hypebeast both posted articles the day after Blonde dropped saying that 6lack was the one who rapped the 2nd half of nights. That's how I found out about Problems and then he started to get more steam that fall
Just seen him at a 40k people festival on saturday. He was one of the headliners/ day closer. He killed it and everyone there loved it

For some reason they expect R&B niggas to drop like these SoundCloud rappers
