That first album was some of the best rnb I had heard that year. And in a while tbh

That music came from a lot of struggle and hardship you can tell.

I think there’s an issue when artists make it big and life starts handing your roses, it can be hard for artists to tap in to those melancholic emotions again and convey it as strongly as once before when life is so good. Especially when that emotion is a part of your signature like 6lack
