try to stay busy
Listen to Blonde
but seriously op, take the time to work on yourself. Workout, read books, try new hobbies etc. Level yourself up so you can level up in life
honestly for me it was working on myself. Really putting effort into school/work and working out have been super helpful for me, I broke up with my girl of 6 years in July.
Definitely felt awful and still isn't perfect but definitely gets better little by little with time and re-allocating some of the focus/attention that a relationship required to things that better yourself as a person can be rewarding.
sounds cliche but it's helped for me at least
hit the gym, spend time with friends, save money, develop healthy habits if you don't have already
focus on self-development
therapy for a broken heart ? bruh
EDIT: after speaking with @insertcoolnamehere and @Ya_Boy_Ace I understand how harsh this sounded, this is in no way therapy shaming I myself go to therapy and it did me wonders, I just believe this can be too much because there are some things that you have to learn to deal with yourself and not use therapy as an escape mechanism
OP it's been 3 years and I'm still not over her and yet I'm the one who ended things lol
this s*** hurts and I miss her so much
Im going through a tough breakup too. If you want to talk to someone who can relate let me know
Get rid of everything that reminds you of her, find stuff to occupy your time (work, gym, hobbies) and wait.
Or find a badder b****.
