    Whatever happened this guy

Dre signed him and was all over the "Compton" album and then disappeared

People said he sounded a lot like Drake too

Same thing that happened to Hittman

    He didn’t produce Recipe lol

Weird how everyone always thinks this

It’s a Dre type beat and he’s featured

Then the ones from the Compton era and probably a few I forgot along the way

Good list, can probably add a few more, especially off the 2001 album.

It's not a Dre type beat at all tbh. He doesn't have anything similar stylistically

It's more reminiscent of Ice Cube - It Was a Good Day. Far too laid back and soulful for Dre whose style is more aggressive and drum heavy

But the Interscope marketing machine is too powerful

    Busta as well

He had a shelved album on Aftermath

Then we have Dre's own failed projects like Detox, NWA reunion album, The Chronic 2 (way before "2001"), collab albums with Snoop and Ice Cube, an instrumental album, etc etc

S*** even last year he announced a new Marsha Ambrosious album 😂

  • Oct 4, 2022

Based on those GTA tracks Dre dropped last year I'd say he's washed, hope I'm wrong tho

busta had a huge comeback, just not big enough for how much Interscope invested in him. Which is why he got dropped from the label.

Crazy to think someone like Busta never truly reached his full potential.

Crazy to think someone like Busta never truly reached his full potential.

The label f***ed up by not making Touch It the first single. Big Bang would have done better numbers and then we would have gotten another Aftermath Busta album. Allegedly he got like half of a second album with Dre completed before he was dropped

he produced some of his songs and put him on the recipe

Recipe was a Kendrick record not a Dre record. Dre has zero produced Kendrick songs that’s known to the public.

Recipe was meant for Detox originally. So was Compton.
