Not the point of the thread. What this decade showed more than anything else is that he has now officially spent more time in the rap game washed dropping okay to awful music. It makes the original projects seem more like flukes than anything else. Thats why the legacy is tarnished, it calls into question his past achievements.
That is the point of the thread. It's about his legacy. It doesn't really matter how many awful albums he drops because he dropped 3 albums that trump 99% of the careers out there.
His legacy will always be solidified as top 15 all time. Foolish to even try to say something like the original projects seem like flukes. You don't just stumble and make 3 classics by mistake.

If you play in any sport and have 3 record breaking years and fall into mediocrity for the rest of your career, people will always remember your great years but the conversation will always revolve around what happened and why you fell off. Ems career has a huge asterisk on it now. Plenty of artists have had amazing runs in hip hop but I think longevity matters just as much in how people rate you in the future.
If you stay in the game long enough you are going to make trash eventually. Just like how half of jay’s albums are average to bad as well. With that said Eminem should have stopped after mmlp2

i find it crazy how after all his mid releases hes still considered top 10 OAT
his peak was really good enough to keep him there even after his fall off

KTT is totally gonna end eminem's career just like fustheads did to wayne in the early 2010s

No. You don’t fluke for three entire projects. He’s washed now because the game moved too quickly and left him behind, as well as him just not having a good ear. Put respect on a legend damn.
Funny cuz future and Uzi are more than capable of this

Yes, he does. Most of Gen Y only sees him as a trash artist cause they were never around to experience his prime between ‘99-‘03. It’s a damn shame tbh. Should’ve hung it up after 8 Mile
hate to say it but just music forum users and redditors think eminem is washed. the general public still loves him to this day and wont stop.
but yes his legacy is tarnished
It's not just internet people I promise you, but people s***ting on his whole career rather instead of just his recent work is a trend I see more on the internet than in real life.
