its worse when they have a buttplug in and they giveing you attitude like the water isnt free

This sounds personal
yeah it’s pretty bad
shows lack of respect for the job
how you do smalls things is how you do big things
Don’t really need to ask a retail employee anything frl. Departments are self explanatory, and it’s stupid to ask a Walmart employee how x product works especially in 2024 with online/video reviews.
But anyways I got a nice job in the lab on the computer management doesn’t allow phones but they leave a hour after my shift and I can have headphones in/ read a book/ blog etc. have YouTube on my iPhone.
The work load I do is in autopilot and the days fly by tbh .
But expecting places in retail that hire pretty much anybody and everybody young starting out in the work force of course you gonna have lazy workers. No one feels like doing that s***
Depends on the job it is, if it’s a cashier with headphones ima look at em weird
f*** you puss ass boy
no, they’re just trying to get through their shift of mind-numbing monotony like everyone else
no. anything that helps like time go by. would be nice if a lot more places let employees pick the music that would play while they work, some places I go can be so overstimulating and probably worse to work at.
They should let them do the interior design while they're at it
Companies need to respect the workplace as a safe space.
If I see one of my employees w earbuds on I fire them immediately
They're not gonna like this one
tbh, yeah, especially if it’s JUST ONE. like bro, there’s no way you’re even having a good time.
that’s like watching a movie on your phone with the brightness at 20% in broad daylight, no captions just volume at 40%
if i was an artist i’d feel so disrespected my work was being listened to in such a half-baked manner
Nah fr why are the newest generation of retail workers so bad? So many of them are legit stupid and spaced out mentally to the point it got me wondering how they even made it into work. They make so many careless f*** ups as well
literally went to a store yesterday and the girl working was so distracted by her phone that i had to ask her for the same thing 6 times (employees misplaced product)

Brother you realize there is a big age demo that isn’t as technically savvy and those people are quite literally paid to assist and answer questions
I think the big question to ask is why do people these days feel the need to have earbuds in while they work? Could it be that the average customer has become such an entitled piece of s*** these days that employees genuinely don't look forward to have to interact with them?
S*** I remember when I worked retail before it was common place to wear earbuds and I WISHED I had them s***s in. The amount of Karens I'd have to deal with on an hourly basis complaining about some s*** I literally have zero control over. Or you get those people asking dumbass questions about where something is when all they have to do is look up at the f***in signs that direct you to where something is.
"What's the difference between this detergent and that detergent?" Motherfucker do I look like I work at Tide or Gain? Just f***in get whatever is cheaper and doesn't f*** up your clothes as much.
Mental illness
Usually I just take a picture of that “worker” (if you can call them that..) on their phone or listening to music, then ask to speak and show their superior after I’m done shopping.

That exact thing has actually happened to me a few times before. I’ve also seen people walk up to the register to pay and watch the employee play on their phone for 30 seconds while the customer waits to get their stuff checked out

What up, Karen!!
Yeah man I gotta make sure this guy barely getting by doesn't wake up with a job tomorrow.
