The reason I presented the story the way I did is because we’ve had disagreements before and this is the first disagreement we’ve had since I started working and he broke up with me. And the things he was saying were suggesting that he feels like I have my life figured out more than him…Point is I told you I wasn’t trolling and you chose to ignore that.

School can be a legitimate avenue as well. I am doing my PhD currently, so technically in school, while my girlfriend is working.

I would continue to work on myself and be very appreciative that my girl is giving me time to grow and holding it down in the meantime
With my girl, I had my bachelors degree and she was in a transition period where she wasn't working. I worked and made money while she stayed back and focused on getting her second degree to go for the career she wanted. We only had my income.
That gave my girl time to focus 100% on getting her doctorate and dong what she had to do. Then she started working and I went back to school to get my doctorate.
Now as a married couple we have a top 1% household income in America.
A relationship is about growing together, pushing each other, supporting each other. If one half is doing better than the other then that means they hold s*** down til the other half can catch their balance.
If you were down to support him and ride it out then your bf is just a dumb d***head sorry to say
