may 31st this drops. this one is production is chosen by snoop (no daz at all!) but the next one on deathrow is produced all by soopafly & daz. kurupt and daz said this on bootleg kev show. that’s gonna be crazy. the things you have to do to get snoop back in your good graces, no diddy

So just to be clear, are you saying that The Dogg Pound is releasing two new albums in the future? There releasing one where Snoop is choosing the production, and there releasing another one where Soopafly and Daz are doing the production?

so the first album is the one snoop executive produces and chooses the production with rick rock dj premier & others. daz has no hand in the production of the music. this is kind of a celebration of snoop’s vision

the second one is return of daz & soopafly production & dogg pound work on that next after the snoop executive produced one.
the 2nd lp will probably be 2 years or 1 year later. this will be the first time daz & soopafly had the whole project together since dogg food lp.

Now if you want my theory- i think it’s dogg food 2 & it comes out the 30th anniversary - next year. Will it be released in october 2025? I guess we will see 😎

If we get a new Dogg Pound album and Missionary this year I will be incredibly pleased

The first single is amazing! Classic Rick Rock beat and very catchy. Love the song.

I'm sure there's gonna be some bangers here, can't wait to hear the DJ Premier produced track featuring RBX. Pretty sure Lady of Rage is on that same song!

But I'm worried about the rest. Did Daz say DaBaby is featured? Lame.

Not holding my breath for the follow-up LP, just glad we're getting one at all.

But calling the 2nd album Dogg Food 2 and dropping it on the 30th anniversary would make a lot of sense.

Snoop also said he's working on Tha Eastsidaz reunion album as well!

they said they recorded & wrote this in 5 days. i think with Daz having the inspiration to tour and to prove to himself and the world that even after 30 years him and Kurupt are still don’s of this s*** it will make the 2nd lp the one fans really want

Yea i think that’s snoop’s idea about da baby. I look at WAWG as a concession lp. Snoop believes he’s got the right producers & features

i guess i don’t get the streaming world. You are putting out a DPG lp that isn’t produced by DPG? How many streams are you going to get? Snoop is on one but you are putting producers who what kind of understanding with this duo?

Maybe do a documentary for the next one.

If warren & Quik are going to tour with Snoop this year, you need projects eventually. If you ask me the west coast would go into a state of shock if snoop did that

Jelly Roll and Kokane are also on the album. No Daz production, but it sounds like Snoop used mostly classic West coast producers (Rick Rock, Jelly Roll, etc).

it’s interesting that Deathrow would title October london’s album - rebirth of marvin - it’s almost like setting yourself up for people saying “this isn’t marvin”

October London has another project called “crypto winter” the music business is weird - some have no awareness of their project titles

what the f does crypto have to do with R&B? Snoop had to create that title

Oddly all 2023 Death Row solo releases are mainly singers outside of Snoop.
