Tinashe and Doja Cat are incredible artists who occupy very unique, distinctive lanes within R&B. Just because they are young beautiful light-skinned women who smoke hella weed and enjoy putting reverb on s*** does not make them the same thing.

Wrong. That's who the label wanted Tinashe to be. Amethyst still one of the best tapes I've heard, Tinashe definitely as an artists would have went in that direction had it not been for the label as we are currently seeing now that she's releasing the music she wants.
