it’s true she wanted to be a huge popstar but even despite that she was still making interesting music in between the pop hits. sometimes no matter how hard an artist tries they just dominate the chart. and sometimes even a very mediocre artist can score hit after hit. it also has a lot to do with timing & behind the scene politics. i think doja has a lot of support behind too especially bc of her dr. luke connection.
