I mostly agree with this. but the thing is, most of these people you mention were rich af and (with the exception of MJ) did have the means to seek help for their mental health issues. the average ktt user doesn’t have that.

I feel for Doja and her situation but really not much more than I feel for the average person who’s overworked and obligated to keep going out of a need to make money. she has the power and resources to seek mental health assistance and find a way to sustain a higher quality of life despite being overworked. Im glad to see artists speaking out about the conditions of the industry but I fail to see how complaining to her broke social media followers is gonna help her situation

You understand mental health recovery is more than just “having the means” my nigga. Cobain escaped his mental facility. Amy Winehouse was in and out of rehab mad times. You don’t think these niggas was trying???

All the therapy sessions and medications and money in the world dont mean s*** if you dont have a circle of ppl around you that care about your best interest.

Ask how a nigga on a Kanye West site knows this.

And once again, you can be right about both things, the whole thing we as a species were supposed to learn from this pandemic was EVERYBODY IS BURNED OUT AND THIS WAY OF LIVING ISNT SUSTAINABLE.

as someone who has been to numerous therapists and on numerous medications for my mental health, I know better than anyone that reaching out to professionals is not enough to cure mental health issues.

this still doesn’t change what I said, celebrities still have waayyyy more resources to get better than any of us ever will

I’m just not gonna sit up here and act like people who make millions of dollars doing s*** that they’re passionate have it sooooo much worse than the average person who deals with a lot of the same struggles with only a fraction of the money, they don’t.
