false. if you think BTI is an example of super high tier quality rapping, (over albums like C3, TPAB or MBDTF, you know, actual classic hip hop albums) i am inclined to say that you either don't like rap music as a whole, or you haven't heard enough rap.
you can disagree if you'd like, but that's about where im at
did I ever say it was better than any of those albums
besides, I evaluate albums based on overall enjoyment, so thats rapping plus beats plus whatever else goes into it. I don't think Donald Glover is a crazy good rapper. Is he decent at rapping? yeah he's pretty competent. Not a rap goat tho obviously. BUT that being said BTI is still an absolutely amazing album even if the rapping on it is more 6-7/10 than 10/10.
also again do u rlly think that just cus someone has a different take on one artists than u that suddenly they must not like rap as a whole? Gambino is literally a rapper (or at least he was when he put out bti), a bti fan is literally by definition a rap fan.
