gotcha
yet another reason i gotta stay on my water game
Yeah between that and you having accessible veins you should be good (the attendants always had to go to my right arm and even then it could be a bit of a challenge)
If you've donated blood or plasma before I'm sure your familiar with this feeling but in case you haven't had those experiences before just know that beyond a fear of needles/the initial prick, the most uncomfortable part imo is just having a big ass needle in your arm for an extended period of time

Yeah when I wrote that I remembered what you said about your accident so I assumed as much but just wanted to make sure
If you do end up doing this and can remember to, can you write a bit about your experience with it here
I could really use the cash but I stopped going well before covid and covid is something I'm sensitive to so it would be helpful to hear about someone else's experiences donating/precautions that the center takes

Much love and appreciation 🙏🏾
I didn't want to donate plasma again after doing so 55 times when I was too disabled to work and needed to pay for classes but this got me thinking about getting back to it plus the money would be a big help
how much money did you make off of it?
Having my blood drawn is literally my biggest phobia
That s*** makes my skin crawl and stomach churn just thinking about it. Almost had a panic attack in the shower last night thinking about it.
I had cupping done once at it fixed my indegestion/heart burn problems for like 3 months
need to get it done again

Back when I did it to max out it was twice a week where the first donation got you 20 and the second got you 70
There were also some programs where you could get a boost for being a first time doner so I'd say all in all a bit over 2k
But I think programs are paying way better now
I just looked at one near me and it's 900 for 8 donations from a new time doner
@dawg how long it take for a client to donate plasma btw?
35-45 mins if you’re pumping your arm

pre-modernity mfs really had it all figured out
Had a good time flirting with the blood tech last time I went years ago. Maybe she’s still there
