I know TLOP got a crazy like cult following but i feel like this is just because most of y’all started stanning ye around that era since hip hop gained a huge popularity boost around 2015 and TLOP just happened to be your first ye album so ofc it will hold a special place in your heart. Don’t get me wrong, TLOP is good - but it’s far from any album Ye released previous to it.
It’s the opposite with DONDA, he outshines his last 3 releases and managed to put another body of work next to the likes of MBDTF and Late Registration.easily

Aug 30, 2021I’m inclined to agree. It’s leagues better than ye and Jesus Is King, and it’s a more focused album than TLOP despite the length. It’s easily the best Kanye in half a decade, if nothing else.
