Nah Ye definitely had to come harder then he did on Jonah. It was set up for him to have an absolutely killer verse about loss and then he just spends the verse talking about Opp Packs and basic wordplay about caps.

Especially after such a heartfelt verse Lil Durk put down on the song about Von. I could honestly see why he was so salty towards Ye after, especially combined with Ye playing GD Anthem at the listening party.

But you can’t go nuts on Off The Grid and Jesus Lord and then just go decent on another track. There’s a higher expectation if you’ve been able to reach a certain level which he did on a few songs.
