Set 20-30% of money aside after each paycheck
set a daily spending limit on your card/lock your card to prevent you from making any dumb purchase
Open a separate account and put 10% of your income into that account. Always pay yourself first before you pay any bills or other expenses
A high yield savings account is usually recommended. There are plenty good online savings accounts. Just look up the best ones on Nerdwallet
What worked for me was when I got my last pay bump I acted like I never got the raise and just put the extra money into a separate account. Saved up like 10k.
Why do you buy ? Ask your self that, what do you need or want ?
I do the same thing but I realize that, for example I have my favorite pair of shoes rn so why would I buy another ?
I have my favorite food at home so why go out and buy some ?
Find what makes you so content that you don’t want other things
Open a brokerage account (I use Vanguard but Robinhood is good for beginners) and try to invest 20-30% in index funds, such as VOO or SPY. I like to treat this money as retirement money, so I'm never inclined to sell. It also helps not to check it daily, so you don't talk yourself into selling when it drops a minimal amount compared to your long term returns.
Also what helped me was the personal capital app. Helps you keep track of all your accounts and expenses vs income. Lays it out for you in easy to read graphs. Once you get a look at how much money you are spending each month/year you start to make changes real quick
set up push notifications on your banking app, look at all your transactions this month and organize them into different sections (eg. alcohol, food, transit, clothes, etc.) so that you have a concrete idea of where your money is going, make an Excel spreadsheet, etc.
Also I presume you have some goals you want to reach right? Like getting a car and/or moving out.
what the f*** are you buying?
you don't need it
start with the essentials and remember homies live on rice and beans
Besides bills, what do you put your money towards? I would just say put some of your money from your checks up but I don’t know your situation to say that.

Spent maybe 15 dollars a month for half a year on food. Saved a s*** ton of money from just eating rice & beans.
Ate a bowl for dinner & took the leftovers for breakfast/lunch the next day & repeat. Most timeless and versatile dish ever imo. Can add anything to it and it’ll still be A1.
need to know what youre buying first
my buds would talk me into splurging once in a while, but afterwards id be pissed and would regret listening to them
Put all of your money in Ethereums that way you'll make more money then you spend
grocerys - stop eating out
slow put aside money into a savings account
if your bank offers “keep the change”, use it
