It kinda was though, mobility was wack and gunplay wasn’t anything special. Complete opposite of Titanfall 2.

Nah that s*** was ass to me, Destiny 2 got better gunplay imo.

No evasive options in Doom 2016, glory kills get old after a while, boring looking areas for almost the whole game. Mid bosses, soundtrack wasn’t anything special either. From what i’ve seen Eternal addressed most of these problems. Got a dash, areas that look distinct and guns feel good. 2016 really soured me on the series so i’m still hesitant on getting the game.

But yeah I'll agree Eternal alot harder, which is good.

the chainsaw will be ur best friend in getting ammo & the dash is helpful from avoiding attacks

you should also enable the ability that lets you move fast for a lil bit after doing a glory kill

there's no official release date but you can expect it sometime this year

you can play some of the community dlcs for the original doom games in the meantime which are at least equally as fun

the modding community is still huge and I would say it's more active than usual right now
